St. Cloud, MN, April 2, 2009: The Park TITAN 1800 CNC Stonecenter from Park Industries is a showcase of advanced Stoneworking technology and high-performance productivity break-throughs. The TITAN 1800 replaces the company’s popular TITAN 1016 version.

The integrated base architecture and massive step-up aluminum worktable of the TITAN™ 1800 offers easier table access for maximum part placement in one set-up. The 96 x 192-inch work table allows for multiple parts to be set-up so operators can process many parts (even an entire kitchen) with unattended cycle time.

Fabricators can quickly convert templates into accurate machine code with point-and-click simplicity right at the machine with the on-board laser digitizing system. Or they can retrieve, convert and program from the standard electronic DXF files at the control unit with the TouchStone programming system.

Cut 2,360 inches per minute, or more, with the 24 hp variable speed spindle drive system that runs up to 10,000 rpm. An optional 3 hp saw blade drive with its own precision slide system for complete, programmable 360-degree continuous rotation. You simply can’t cut curves and bowl holes faster or more efficiently than with the TITAN™ 1800.

The automatic tool changer not only gets the right tool to the right position fast, it also washes the tool holders between every change for less wear, less operator intervention and better grip. There’s even a smart sensor that prevents putting a tool back into a full pocket and a laser tool management system measures and accommodates for tool wear, prolonging the life of your tools and saving operator set-up time.

The TITAN’s Hyperdrive™ Precision Ground Helical Rack & Pinion Drives maximizes tool life and improves cut quality (accurate to .0004 inches in 13 feet of travel). The fast acceleration and deceleration makes for quick tool changes. Plus, the smooth, quiet operation and easy maintenance makes the TITAN™ even easier on the operator.
