Park’s Third Digital Stoneworking Expo Highlights New Shop Developments

Event held March 5-6th, 2009

St. Cloud, MN, April 3, 2009: Park Industries hosted a Digital Stoneworking Expo at their corporate offices on March 5th and 6th, 2009. The expo was open to countertop fabricators considering the move to greater digital production methods. The expo brought together shops from across the United States and Canada for a one-day lecture with an extra day for machine demonstration opportunities.

Presentations from industry-leading suppliers included electronic templating systems, water treatment systems and tooling selection. Two fabricators presented their experiences in implementing digital technology and opened the expo up for a variety of business questions and operations discussions.

Plenty of time was allowed for hands-on demonstrations of a Park Pathfinder 2600 digital workstation with Synergy Inventory software. Demonstrations were made using Park’s FUSION 4000 CNC Saw/Waterjet and the company’s TITAN 1016 CNC Stonecenter equipped with Digit-All Slabcenter capabilities. Park’s Interiors Machinery Sales Manager, Stephanie Kadlec said of the event, “It’s a great way to get a hands-on experience with emerging digital stoneworking technology. We had attendees thank us for the balanced and professional presentations.”
