Cut These Spooky Skeletons On Your CNC Sawjets (DXF Available)
We’re bringing some bad to the bone creativity to this Halloween edition of Cut This, Polish That! Dan Anderson, Technical Trainer and host of our Did You Know? Educational Series, is back with another spooky stone project.
This time, we’re putting the SABERjet XL CNC Sawjet to work cutting two freestanding skeleton designs. And the best part? We’re sharing the DXF files so you can bring these skeletons to life yourself!
Bad to the “Stone” Skeletons 💀
Who knew stone could have so much personality?
Using the SABERjet XL CNC Sawjet, Dan cut two different slotted skeleton designs that assemble into freestanding Halloween decorations.
With most of the work handled by precision waterjet cutting, both skeletons were cut in just over an hour. The result? Two unique Halloween decorations that are sure to raise a few eyebrows (and maybe the dead).
A Few Tricks for a Smooth Cut
Before you bring these skeletons to life, Dan has a couple of programming tips to keep in mind:
- Dan nested the pieces close together to make it easier to break them free and separate the finished parts from the scrap.
- Watch your waterjet lead-ins and lead-outs. Adjusting these properly helps prevent blowouts and keeps your finished pieces looking sharp.

We’d love to see your creations! Send photos of your finished skeletons to social@parkindustries.com for a chance to be featured and to show Dan how your project turned out.
