The KANO™ HD Cuts at FABTECH 2018

With over 33,000 attendees, FABTECH 2018 was filled wall-to-wall with energetic conversations, booth demonstrations, and learnings. Park Industries® made an impression amongst the 1,500+ exhibitors gathered in Atlanta, Georgia during the largest metal fabricating and forming tradeshow in North America.

Park Industries® booth made attendees passing by stop in their tracks. Sparks were flying from the KANO™ HD as it cut out steel parts with precision. The 10’ x 24’ plasma cutting machine encompassed a large amount of floor space and was the focal point of Booth #B9443. The parts display showcased the full range of the KANO™ HD’s cutting abilities with stainless steel parts 10ga to ½” thick and aluminum parts 10ga to 1” thick.

The KANO™ HD CNC thermal cutting machine is available in six sizes and configured with a Hypertherm® EDGE Connect CNC, a Hypertherm plasma system, an optional oxy-fuel cutting torch with three cutting table styles available. KANO™ HD is built with a truly unitized, heavy-duty steel machine base and delivers non-compensated motion accuracy.

This tradeshow was filled with excitement for new technology advancements and trends. Allan Holst, Park Industries® Product Manager, presented during the FABTECH education sessions. The room was filled with about 30 people as he shared the inner workings of a self-cleaning cutting table and the benefit provided to a fabrication shop.

During the three-day expo, there were a variety of intrigued conversations surrounding Park Industries’ booth. Attendees took an interest in the innovation and expanded line of the KANO™ HD plasma cutting machines. Park Industries stood out prominently and the feedback from attendees made forecast that our machine will be one to reckon with in the industry.
