The company was founded in 1953 by Leon Schlough. Park Tool Company introduced the HYDRASPLIT, one of the first stone splitters in the industry.
Tom & Joyce Schlough
In 1976, Tom & Joyce took over the company and changed the name to Park Industries. They lead the company into CNC technology.
Chris Klimpel & MIke SChlough
2012 marked the year that Mike & Chris became the third generation owners. They have helped evolve Park’s products, including Robotics and solutions for the metal industry.

Dirk Kloss’ career began in the US Army/National Guard where he held numerous leadership positions including Deputy Chief of Staff, Director of Operations, and Chief of Staff. In 2014, Dirk joined Polaris Inc. as Senior Manager where he developed a field service team. He was promoted to Senior Director and was focused on building a team designed to improve customer experience and service. “I’m delighted to join Park Industries,” adds Kloss, “and am looking forward to continually evolving the customer experience model that distinguishes Park from others in this industry.”
