Fusion 4000 series hard stop kit

Fairly easy task, requires minimal mechanical/electrical experience.

In some cases the raise and lower assembly can over-travel and damage the bellows on the Fusion. Installing this Hard Stop kit can help eliminate that situation. This kit will only need to be installed if the dimension from the top of the existing stop block to the bottom of the fixture hole is approximately 7.5” (see illustration on page 3), contact Park Industries Service Department at (800) 785-3391 to have the kit sent to your shop.

TOOLS needed: Allen Wrench Set and the Fusion Hard stop kit.

  1. Installation Process
  2. Position the bridge all the way Y minus and X positive.
  3. Rotate the C axis to 180*
  4. Press the e-stop on the operator station or pendant.
  5. Apply one drop of Loctite 243 to each of the set screws and thread into the tapped holes of the Hard Stop.
  6. Slide the Hard Stop into the hole in the cross travel plate and on top of the existing stop block as shown in print #90108.
  7. Fully tighten the set screws.
  8. return machine to operation.
Illustrations are showing cross travel plate with arbor removed for clarity – you do not need to remove arbor assembly to install the kit.
