Our very first Fabricator Exchange™ (FabX) event launched on May 1st in Central Florida, and what a kickoff it was! With over 50 fabricators in attendance, the event was packed with shop tours, machines, education and connection. Here’s a quick recap of the day!

A lineup of great speakers dropped knowledge that fabricators could take to their shop and use right away:
Joseph Cine, Cohen Seglias: tackled OSHA visits and silica safety, equipping attendees with key takeaways to protect their shops and teams.
Omar Chahin, GMD Surfaces: presented the concept of Throughput Dollars (T-Dollars) to help fabricators rethink and add profitability.
Ricky Hughes, Florida Central Cabinet Supply & Roger Atherton, Counter Effects by Roger: shared their shops’ stories of how they came to be fully digital, all Park Industries shops and the amazing results they’ve experienced.
Joan Schatz, CEO of Park Industries: offered a deep dive into the state of the housing market, helping shops plan ahead.
Shop Tours & Machines in Action
Attendees got to explore two top-tier local shops—Counter Effects by Roger and Florida Central Cabinet Supply—where they saw 9 different Park Industries machines running live, including the JAVELIN CNC Sawjet, SlabVision Scanner, and TITAN 4700 CNC Router.
Infinity Surfaces provided their 2cm Taj Mahal Porcelain material to for attendees to see the JAVELIN cut through with ease.

More than just presentations, FabX lived up to its name—fabricators exchanged ideas, tips, challenges, and solutions.
