For Marco, one of the biggest reasons Atlas has continued to grow is its willingness to keep learning and changing.

“We’re not narrow-minded here. We’re not set in our ways,” Marco says. “We’re always willing to take a step into the unknown.”

That openness carries into the way the team approaches each project. Atlas customers are often looking for something specific to their home or space, not a one-size-fits-all solution.

“When our clients come in, they’re looking for a space that’s unique unto them,” Marco says. “It starts here and it ends in the shop.” That mindset has helped shape a shop built to handle both challenging materials and highly custom work.

AUTOMATION BUILT FOR PRODUCTION AND CREATIVITY

Atlas relies on two SABERjet XP CNC Sawjets and a VOYAGER XP 5-Axis CNC Saw to support its cutting and specialty fabrication. Together, the machines give the team the flexibility to work with everything from dense quartzite to delicate marble.

“The SABERjet XP, to me, is next generation,” Marco says. “It was everything I put on my wish list for a saw.”

Marco points to the machine’s balance of power and versatility as a major advantage. “It cuts through the toughest quartzites, and it’s gentle enough to cut my most delicate marble.”

The VOYAGER XP serves a different role in the shop, giving the team more freedom to take on custom profiles, mantles, and thicker materials.

“The VOYAGER XP right now is our little darling,” Marco says. “It’s our place where we go and do creative things. It allows me to break out and come up with something new.”

EQUIPMENT THAT SUPPORTS THE TEAM

For Marco, automation is not only about what the machines can produce. It is also about giving his team the right tools to do their jobs well.

“Holding on to your employees is critical,” he says. “But if you don’t give them the tools, then it becomes exhausting to do.”

Reliable equipment helps remove some of that burden while allowing the team to focus on the work in front of them.

“The equipment and the machinery is reliable,” Marco says. “It allows me to focus on the important things because I don’t have to worry about the machines as much.”

That confidence carries through the shop and into the customer experience. Marco believes customers can feel when a business is confident in its process, its people, and the equipment behind the finished product.

MORE THAN MACHINES

Marco’s relationship with Park began when he was considering the move into automation and looking for guidance on what came next.

“I was on an island of question marks,” Marco says. “That’s when I reached out to Park Industries.”

That support gave him the confidence to move forward. “They gave me the confidence to take off the training wheels and to go full-fledged into automation.”

Over time, Marco says the relationship grew beyond equipment into mentorship, support, and friendship. “Park is what I needed. I needed that kindness, that sincerity, and I felt adopted.”

For Marco, the relationship is ultimately summed up in just a few words: “Park is my family.”
