After years of success at their Miami location, Edged in Stone launched a second shop in Ocala, Florida, to increase capacity and better serve the entire state. “Our goal is to expand our coverage in Florida and really cater to all the segments within the industry,” says Erik Valera, who leads operations at the new facility.

PARK PARTNERSHIP
Began over a decade ago at their Miami shop

The Ocala location mirrors the same all-Park commitment as Miami, operating with a JAVELIN CNC Sawjet, FASTBACK II Edge Polisher, and VELOCITY Edge Polisher, with plans for multiple additional JAVELINs and edge polishing machines to come.

The JAVELIN CNC Sawjet stands at the heart of Edged in Stone’s Ocala operation. “It’s an amazing machine,” Erik says. “The level of precision that the AccuCut™ provides lets us get incredible miter cuts. If I’m doing high production for my builder customers, no problem. But if I need to switch to a more intricate fireplace wall cladding job for a custom builder, I can do that.”

When it comes to output, the JAVELIN delivers serious results. “Just basing off what we do in Miami right now, anywhere between 25 to 28 slabs a day from the JAVELIN alone,” Erik shares. “We’ve done 17 slabs in a day, and it was ready for a lot more.”

That flexibility allows the team to handle both large-scale builder work and detailed custom projects with the same level of precision and efficiency.

Edge finishing and backsplash polishing are driven by the FASTBACK II Edge Polisher, which Erik calls a cornerstone of productivity. “The FASTBACK II is a money printing machine,” he says. “Your efficiency levels go through the roof.”

Paired with the VELOCITY Edge Polisher, the Ocala shop can handle everything from standard profiles to intricate custom designs. “The VELOCITY gives you about 70 different edge profiles,” Erik explains. “It allows me to cater to the more detailed customer and achieve a huge increase in productivity.”

For Erik, Park Industries® stands out not just for machinery but for reliability and support. “You want reliable and dependable service to go with top-tier machinery, then go with Park,” he says. “I’m a big fan of supporting American-made products. The customer service really is world-class, and it makes you feel like you’re not alone.”

He adds, “If parts are needed, I get them next day. I don’t have to stop my business. If you’re looking for peace of mind with your purchase, then go with Park.”
