For the Falconis, fabrication has always been personal. The business grew from family roots into a shared passion that now spans generations.

For Giovanni, joining the business started casually before becoming a career. “It started out as a summer thing,” Giovanni shares. “Now it’s part of our life. We like bringing things into people’s homes that they love.”

That mindset continues to shape the shop today, where the focus remains on custom projects, craftsmanship, and customer experience.

“Our shop is pretty much aimed at high-end work,” Richie explains. “We make our customers really happy. You need personal skills and the right equipment.”

Transitioning from Hand Work to Digital

Richie came from a generation where nearly everything in fabrication was done by hand. Moving into digital fabrication was a major step, but one he knew would help position the business for the future.

“I come from the time where everything was done by hand,” Richie says. “I didn’t want to give my son a business he had to fix. I wanted him to hit the ground running.”

Like many fabricators, investing in the first CNC machine came with hesitation. But once Falco Marble & Granite moved forward, the benefits became clear.

“It’s very hard to buy that first machine,” Richie explains. “Mentally you get all kinds of blocks, but once you do it, you don’t feel them anymore.”
