Stanley’s Marble & Granite

Patryk Gadawski, owner of Stanley’s Marble & Granite, knew it was time for a change as their production climbed with the vast majority of project including backsplash and countertops with a flat edge finish. Relying on an outdated inline polisher and hand fabrication, their flat-edge polishing bottleneck became apparent. Patryk turned to Park Industries® to help fulfill this need and installed a FASTBACK II edge polisher in the summer of 2023. 

Back on Track with Countertop Production with the FASTBACK® II

After just one month, the FASTBACK® II had already impacted production heavily. It increased the amount of work produced every day while alleviating the stress they had previously of making sure backsplashes were done on time.  

Patryk shares, “We run the FASTBACK® II 4-5 hours per day, producing about 200 lineal feet per day. This machine has made it possible for us to be a few days ahead of schedule!”  

Patryk continues, “I definitely recommend the FASTBACK® II, especially if you’re doing a lot of eased edge projects. We have a ton, so we can just continuously push tops through it. This machine has already made life a lot easier in the one month we have had it.”

The Impact on the Shop

The set up and use of the FASTBACK® II has been easy for the shop employees to learn. With an overhead crane and one employee operating it, the FASTBACK II is extremely simple and efficient for Stanley’s Marble & Granite. 

They are excited for their future with this machine in their shop. Patryk shares, “I would give the polish a 10/10 rating. The speed of the FASTBACK® II is undeniable. In just 1 hour, with one person running it, the FASTBACK® II can complete what it takes two employees to do all day. I am very happy with this machine.” 

The FASTBACK® II has opened up the door to allow Patryk to re-assess their customer estimates now that they can get projects out faster than before. All around, the FASTBACK® II has been a welcome addition to the shop.
