An A Axis Hardware or Software limit switch alarm can be resolved with simply moving the Axis back into its
operating range.
During normal operation (no alarm), A axis position display should read between 0 to 47.5 degrees. When the Axis has traveled beyond the limits, an Alarm is generated. Simply follow the steps below and on the next page to resolve the issue.
To clear the alarm, go to the Main Menu and then open the Manual Screen.
2. Try This First (works for most Software Limit Alarms) 2A. Press the Move A Axis to 0° Button. 2B. If the A Axis position doesn’t change, press the Reset Alarm button and go to step 3. OR If the A Axis moves, issue has been corrected, return machine to operational status.
3A. If the alarm has a – sign behind it, press the A + button until A Axis position is between 0.0 and 47.5 degrees. OR If the alarm has a + sign behind it, press the A – button until A Axis position is between 0.0 and 47.5 degrees. 3B. When the A Axis position is between 0.0 and 47.5 degrees, press the Move A axis to 0° button. 3C. Press Reset Alarm button and return the machine to operational status.
