Moderate task, requires some mechanical/electrical experience.

How to retrofit a Titan with an End Of Cycle Alarm. You will need Kit # 95234 to complete this process.

mount the prox and route the wire

Remove the bolts that hold the prox flag to the bridge and install the new bracket under the prox flag using the new bolts provided, you can leave it loose at this time we will adjust this later. Install the prox and wire in the new bracket then rout the wire down through the hole in the bridge and out through the hole by the 8-port block (On a Titan 2700 and Titan Fabcenter this assembly will be mounted on the opposite end of the bridge)

connect the wire and T-coupler

Connect the T-coupler to port 1 on the 8-port block on the back of the bridge, connect the wire that was in port 1 to the port labeled “B” on the T-coupler and the wire from the end of cycle prox will be connected to port “A” (on some machines port 1 may be on the bottom instead of on top)

Install components in electrical cabinet

Move the terminal end barrier on the end of the terminal strip down and mount the relay and 8 pin socket as shown (relay not shown but can be plugged into the 8 pin socket once wiring is done)

install the wires

Using the below diagram connect the wires shown to the terminal strip

• White wire with blue tracer is generally used as the common wire blue wire can be used for the rest

• On Titan 2600, 2700, 2800 the 24V wire is 311 and Common wire is 312 (there will be several of both in the panel you can connect to any of them)

• On Titan 1600, 1700, 1800 the 24V wire is 421 and Common wire is 422 (there will be several of both in the panel you can connect to any of them)

• Older machines 352 is 24V and 353 is common

• There is more than one PT1/4 wire in the terminal strip the one you want is the one that is in the same connector as the fresh water flow switch (in this case it is

note about the wire going to PT1/4

Mount the stack light and siren Using the gasket supplied with the light base as a template, drill the center hole and drill and tap the four mounting holes. Be sure to keep any metal shavings from getting into the micro PC or the terminal strip

The wires for the light and siren will come from the small terminal strip in the HMI (behind the touch screen)

The white wire is common it will go from the common on the terminal strip (312 or 422) to the terminal in the stack light labeled 0

A blue wire for the light goes from SP1 on the terminal strip to the terminal in the stack light labeled 1

A blue wire for the siren goes from SP2 on the terminal strip to the terminal in the stack light labeled 2

To adjust the new bracket and the existing prox flag put the machine in the park position and adjust the prox flag just so that the light on the x prox turns off and adjust the new end of travel just so that it turns on and tighten the bolts. If working on a 2800 or 2600 the install is complete if working on a 2700 or Fabcenter you will need to contact customer service to get the machine to park in the correct place to make the alarm work.
