Park has discovered that the proper preventative maintenance procedure for the heat exchanger filter screen found on your C-70 splitting machine was not included in your Operation and Maintenance manual. It is possible that the screen may become plugged not allowing proper cooling of the hydraulic fluid resulting in unit shutdown.
Every 10 Hrs or Daily Maintenance – Clean Heat Exchanger Filter
Proper maintenance is to pull the filter out and clean the filter with water. Also visually check the radiator fins. If the fins have build-up, wash with low pressure water. It’s important NOT to use a pressure washer as this would damage the fins on the cooler. This maintenance should be done daily.
