A dirty blade coolant sensor is the most common cause of a Blade Coolant Alarm. This procedure illustrates the steps to remove, clean and then replace the coolant sensor. Machine shutdown
- Use the below steps to properly shutdown the software before removing AC power to the FUSION.
• At console, E-Stop machine
• On Main Menu, tap Exit.
• On dialog box, tap Yes( Exit)
• On desktop, shutdown computer.
• When the console screen is black, remove AC power at the disconnect.
Isolate Electrical, Air & Water sources
- Lock and tag per your company’s policy.
Confirm water is OFF.
Open the wash-down nozzle to completely relieve water pressure.

Locate the sensor (back left side of bridge).
Disconnect sensor and Remove
Clean the Sensor
Using a nylon abrasive pad, clean the sensor probe.
Apply pipe sealant to the sensor threads
Replace sensor, tighten and then replace the sensor connector
Repair complete
Remove your Lock and Tag, restore AC power, turn-on site water, and return the FUSION to operational status.
