This will show you how to calculate your spindle to table Z height.
Find your machines setup tool, pictured below. Write down the number engraved onto the tool we will need this later.
Insert the setup tool into the spindle manually.
Next Manually bring the spindle down to the table top until you just feel resistance.
Calculate your new Z Height.
Add the value of your tools number we referenced on the first step and add that to your Z Absolute Position. This will now be your new Spindle to Work Surface number.
